A.Definition :

Analytical text is a text that describes a phenomenon or problem comprehensively by using arguments that support the idea of the text.

B.Generic structure :

The generic structure of analytical  text consists of thesis, argument, and reiteration. 

Thesis: the first part of the text is the thesis, which is an explanation of the topic of the problem and the author's opinion. 

Arguments: this section describes the arguments that support the author's opinion. 

Reiteration: the final part of the text is reiteration which is in the form of rewriting the thesis or opinion of the author. 

C.Purpose :

An analytical  is a type of text in which the purpose is to persuade the audience by making an argument. 

D.Language featured :

Analytical text has of five characteristic of language feature. First is the use the use of emotive words. The second one is the use of simple present tense. The last one is the use of relational process, internal conjunction, and causal conjunction.
